of Fr. Kentenich's great wishes was that the Schoenstatt
Movement, founded a hundred years ago in an unknown valley
leading down to the Rhine in Germany, should be present in the
heart of the universal Church in Rome. In 1965 the leading
representatives of the International Schoenstatt Movement
promised their founder that they would build an international
center in Rome. It took over forty years before this promise
could be realized when the International Schoenstatt Center in
Belmonte, Rome, was built. Fr. Kentenich's expectations, for
the MATRI ECCLESIAE Shrine and Belmonte as a whole, found
expression in the programmatic talks of this book.<br>

height="512" width="360">As the editor, Dr Peter Wolf, states in
the foreword of the book, "Father Kentenich’s conferences and
talks, which are presented in this booklet, reveal our founder’s
hopes and intentions connected with the international shrine and
center in Rome. This collection of texts is an open invitation to
everyone to come to grips with his vision, and allow themselves to
be set on fire for Belmonte’s mission."</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This book is not only destined for
Jubilee pilgrims who come to Rome. It contains three of Father
Kentenich’s main conferences; two of them have been translated for
the first time to English. They offer a good opportunity to learn
what the International Center of Belmonte means to Schoenstatt and
the Church, and they offer a broad look of the vision Father
Kentenich had of the renewed Church.</p>
<h4 style="text-align: justify;">It is already on sale worldwide</h4>
<p style="text-align: justify;">While the German edition was
published by Schoenstatt Publishing (Germany) at the beginning of
the year 2014, the Spanish editions (translated by Rodolfo
Monedero),<a

English</strong></a> (translated by Mary Cole) and Portuguese
(translated by Lurdes Dias, Helena Castro Valente and Antonio
Palma Ruivo) were published in mid-September by Editorial Nueva
Patris, Chile, and they can be bought individually or in larger
quantities for sale in bookstores – on the <a
href="http://www.patris.cl/">www.patris.cl</a> portal; from this
year on, Patris also ships into countries outside Chile, <a

really people from every English speaking country can get the
books with just some clicks!</strong></a></p>
<h4 style="text-align: justify;">The Kentenich method to distribute
books</h4>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Buying online is not the only
option, on the contrary. Using the ISBN (<strong> </strong>956-246-751-39),
it can also be done apostolically, following Father Kentenich’s
method. In 1939, the year the book “Everyday Sanctity” was
published, Father Kentenich asked the members of the Schoenstatt
Movement in Germany to avoid buying the book at Schoenstatt; but
rather, that they seek it at bookstores in their cities. “But
Father,” they commented, they do not have it in the ordinary
bookstores. “I know,” Father responded, “but if you ask for it,
they will order it from Schoenstatt. When another person goes to
the same bookstore to look for the book, they will request it one
more time. But if a third person comes…they will order ten. And in
this way they will reach the bookstores and the hands of the
people outside of Schoenstatt. And that is what we want.” This how
“Everyday Sanctity” became popular…</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">However, the books can also be
bought during the Schoenstatt Jubilee at the Editorial Patris
stand; and in Belmonte, from the 21st of October during the
pilgrimage included in the Jubilee celebration in Rome.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Soon – possibly this week – the
books will also be sold as E-Books.</p>
