first day of the year at St. Peter's Basilica on the feast
day of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God and the 47th
World Day of Peace. The Holy Father dedicated his homily
to Mary, the mother of God and the mother of all mankind
and asked those present to repeat the Blessed Mother's
title three times: "Mother of God, Mother of God, Mother
of God." After Mass, in order to commemorate Our Lady's
feast day, and prior to the Angelus, Pope Francis called
for peace and said that we are called to take note of the
violence and injustice that exists in many parts of the
world that cannot leave us "indifferent and unmoved"
because "everyone must be committed to building a society
of justice and solidarity." The starting point for his
speech was a letter that he had received the day before.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

Schoenstatt Family has longed for building a Shrine, a new
Shrine for Uruguay, which will be the country’s second one
(after the first daughter Shrine at a world-wide level, in
Nueva Helvecia). There is still no place to build it, but
they already have the altar that was conquered and
imported from the city of Santa Maria, Brazil, with the
local contribution of many faithful; it is the last one
made by the Brothers of Mary in this country.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

Schoenstatt the sodalists of the Marian Sodality – that
is, those who were unable to go home in the Christmas
holidays – tried through their behaviour and their
contributions to the Christmas celebrations to create a
family. In addition, their Spiritual Director, Fr
Kentenich, showed them the spiritual context of being a
