Dear dreamteam and friends of schoenstatt.org -

this is truly, as our Holy Father Francis said, the week of the youth, 
and from schoenstatt.org we simply want to accompany him and our 
Schoenstatt people who try and serve the youth and him in Rio - be it 
with the mobile or "Pilgrim Shrine" set up in the middle of the events 
and visited by many, be it bringing the Pilgrim Mother to many, offering 
rosaries, sponsoring the Marian Festival and just being present with 
their joy, excitement, commitment, their hands, ears, eyes and feet and 
heart and prayers in solidarity with our Holy Father who will bring a 
message in words and gestures that may change hearts and may change our 
church and society. Let us specially accompany the mission of Fr, 
Alexandre Awi de Melo as member of Francis closest staff in these days:

Many of us saw the transmission yesterday and saw how cordially Francis 
welcomed him!

While the "traditional" and new !!!  translators and editors of 
schoenstatt.org just work "around the clock" , we all can help by 
commenting the articles on the website, sharing them via mail, facebook 
or where ever, and sharing sources of good coverage... via internet, TV, 
and more. And most of all, accompany each word and photo we share with 
our prayers and our covenant solidarity, knowning that all we do in and 
for our many apostolic and missionary and social projects is a gift in 
covenant solidarity with Francis. So it is sure not by chance that the 
first houses in Paraguay built with our joint effort in "a protecting 
roof" have been set up just this past weekend ... and that the idea that 
came up of offering 100 houses for 100 years of our "house" in 
Schoenstatt, one from each shrine, is getting a lot of joyful support 
... several shrines, first Fulda, Horw and Lucern, already are part! 
soon more! And we are only waiting for the first Schoenstatt cafeteria 
to join the "two coffee initiative", inspiring visitors to donate one 
coffee for homeless people,,, and many ask what we can do for refugees 
... and who knows what more!!
And in the middle of all that, our French website is being prepared!
Last week, in the Mass inthe Original shrine, our article on the 150th 
birthday of Catharina Kentenich made for the sermon - thanks, Fr. Egon...

Querido dreamteam y amigos de schoenstatt.org -

estamos en verdad en la semana de la juventud, proclamada el domingo por 
Francisco. Desde schoenstatt, simplemente queremos acompañarle a el y a 
los muchos schoenstattianos que que están en Rio para servirle a el y a 
los jovenes, sea con el "Santuario Peregrino" en plena ciudad, visitado 
por tantos, sea con la Virgen Peregrina llevada a tantos lugares y 
personas, sea con el festival mariano o sea con su presencia misionera, 
su alegría, su compromiso, sus manos, corazones, lengua, pies, oraciones 
y su solidaridad con nuestro Papa Francisco que ofrecerá, ciertamente, 
en sus palabras como gestos, una gracia que puede cambiar corazones y 
renovar nuestra iglesia y nuestro mundo. Acompanaremos especialmente, 
con orgullo y con compromiso, la misión entregada al P Alexandre Melo a 
formar parte del equipo del Papa en estos días.

Muchos de nosotros vimos anoche en la transmisión en vivo como el Santo 
Padre le daba tan tan cordialmente la bienvenida...
Mientras que los traductores y redactores de siempre y unos nuevos !! 
trabajamos contra reloj, todos nosotros podemos ayudar dejando 
comentarios en las notas publicadas, o compartiendolos via Facebook, 
mail o como sea, compartiendo también recursos de internet o otros donde 
se encuentran videos, transmisión en vivo via internet, las conferencias 
etc. Pero más que nada, acompañar a cada nota y cada foto con 
oraciones... y con nuestra alianza solidaria, sabiendo que todo lo que 
hacemos en nuestros proyectos misioneros, apostolicos y sociales (o para 
difundir y apoyarlos) es un regalo a ofrecer a Francisco en alianza 
solidaria con el. Por eso seguro que no es casualidad que las ?primeras 
casitas en Paraguay para familias pobres - que apoyamos via sch.org con 
la iniciativa del "techo a cobijar" - han sido construidas el fin de 
semana pasada, y que la idea que surgió de ofrecer 100 casitas para 100 
años de nuestra casa in Schoenstatt, esta prendiendo fuego... y que ya 
hay unos santuarios que quieren ser parte. Solo esperamos a la primera 
cafeteria schoenstattiana a ofrecer el "café pendiente" (pagar dos cafés 
al tomar uno, para que se puede ofrecer un café a personas sin techo), y 
hay quienes preguntan si podemos hacer algo o más para refugiados..,., y 
quien sabe que más!!
Entre todo esto, nuestra pagina en francés esta preparada... para salir 
pronto.
La semana pasada, nuestro articulo sobre el 150° aniversario de Catalina 
Kentenich fue prédica el mismo 18 de julio en el Santuario Original.
