de fevereiro de 2015 o Santo Padre Francisco nomeou o Pe. Andrés Napoleón Romero
Cárdenas como bispo de Barahona (superfície 6,973 Km2, 382.000 habitantes,
católicos 215.000, sacerdotes 31 (15 diocesanos e 16 religiosos), religiosos 54,
diáconos permanentes 2 na República Dominicana. O bispo eleito nasceu em 1967 em
Ramonal Arriba (República Dominicana) e foi ordenado sacerdote em 1995. É
licenciado em Filosofía e Letras e em Ciências Religiosas pela Universidade
Pontifícia Mater et Magistra (República Dominicana) e em Teologia Bíblica pela
Universidade Pontifícia Gregoriana e no seu ministério pastoral foi, entre
outros cargos, vigário paroquial, formador no Seminário Menor e diretor da Obra
diocesana para as vocações sacerdotais, professor da Sagrada Escritura e
Metodologia da Investigação e Decano das Faculdades de Filosofia e Teologia y
Formador do Pontifício Seminário Maior Santo Tomás de Aquino. Atualmente era
pároco da catedral de Santa Ana na diocese de San Francisco de Macorís. Pertence
desde 1999 ao Instituto de Sacerdotes Diocesanos de
Schoenstatt.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></B></P>

desejo do Padre José Kentenich era que, o Movimento de Schoenstatt, fundado há
cem anos num desconhecido vale banhado pelo Reno, na Alemanha, estivesse
presente no coração da Igreja universal, em Roma. No ano de 1965, os
representantes da Presidência do Movimento Internacional de Schoenstatt
prometeram ao Pai-Fundador que, se construiria um Centro Internacional de
Schoenstatt, em Roma. Passaram mais de 40 anos até se ver cumprida esta promessa
com a construção do Centro Internacional de Schoenstatt, em Belmonte, Roma. No
livro “Belmonte segundo José Kentenich” são abordadas as expectativas
programáticas que vinculavam o Padre Kentenich ao Santuário MATRI ECCLESIAE, em
Belmonte. Desde meados de Fevereiro de 2015, o livro, publicado em Outubro de
2014 como livro impresso, está disponível também como E-Book, em espanhol,
português e inglês.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></B></P>

Giménez, bispo da Diocese de Caacupé, Sacerdote de Schoenstatt, pediu ao povo
uma oração diária pela visita do “mensageiro da alegria e da paz”, o Papa
Francisco. Na tradicional missa dos domingos, D. Giménez falou a respeito da
vinda do Santo Padre, que acontecerá em julho próximo. Pediu ao povo paraguaio
para rezar todos os dias um Pai Nosso e uma Ave-Maria, como símbolo da espera de
visita tão importante. Além disso, apresentou o nome que carinhosamente a
Conferência Episcopal Paraguaia (CEP) deu ao Papa Francisco. “Mensageiro da
alegria e da paz, assim vamos tratar o Papa, quando vier aqui no Paraguai”,
disse o bispo de Caacupé.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></B></P>

Fevereiro completam-se cem anos do nascimento de Karl Leisner. Karl Leisner
(1915 – 1945), Beatificado por João Paulo II , em 1996, conheceu Schoenstatt
quando era jovem e, durante os anos em que estudou Teologia, pertenceu a um
grupo de Schoenstatt, no qual, também estava o que seria, mais tarde, o Bispo de
Münster, Heinrich Tenhumberg. Para Karl Leisner, ficam, como marcos no seu
caminho vocacional, os poucos mas, intensos momentos, de encontro pessoal com
Nossa Senhora, no Santuário Original. Durante os dias de Adoração para
sacerdotes que, ocorrem todos os anos, no Carnaval, na Marienau, o Pe. Ernst
Geerkens (85) conduziu os 18 participantes de várias Comunidades Paroquiais de
Schoenstatt, a um encontro profundo com Karl
Leisner.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></B></P>
