sobrevivência. Maria e José levaram o seu Filho para o Egito quando a Sua Vida
estava ameaçada. Nós que vivemos em África temos orgulho que a Sagrada Família
tenha vindo refugiar-se em África. Fugir de situações difíceis não é nada de

está datada de 29 de junho, festividade dos apóstolos Pedro e Paulo, primeiras
testemunhas da fé da Igreja de Roma, à qual o Papa é chamado a confirmar os
irmãos na unidade da fé de sempre. “Aquele que crê, vê” – nesta expressão,
“pode-se resumir o ensinamento do Papa Francisco nessa sua primeira
encíclica. Um texto que se situa dentro da perspectiva do binômio luz e
amor. A mensagem dessa encíclica é um caminho que o Papa propõe à Igreja
para recuperar sua missão no mundo de hoje”, disse Mons., Fisichella, na
apresentação. “Sim, é verdade que a fé autêntica enche o coração de

amor. Mais tarde, já em Milwaukee, EUA, quando o cancro lhe dava pouco tempo de
vida, aproximou-se do local onde estavam a construir um novo santuário mariano,
e nos fundamentos abertos na terra enterrou uma rosa vermelha como símbolo da
sua entrega. Queria dizer a Maria: "eu posso morrer, mas a rosa do meu amor,
não". Quando em 15 de julho de 1964 morreu, os seus amigos puseram-lhe uma rosa
vermelha entre as mãos. Agora, no túmulo, por trás do Santuário de Bellavista,

junho. Participaram 40 escolas da faixa central, das Dioceses de Glasgow,
Edimburgo, Paisley e Motherwell. Ao todo, aproximadamente um total de
2.000 crianças na faixa escolar do primeiro grau foram beneficiadas por
participarem de uma excelente programação organizada pela Ir. M. Elsbeth e pela
Ir. Margareta, apoiadas por uma equipe de voluntários muito
