terceiro ano do triénio de preparação para o Jubileu da Aliança de Amor, 18 de
outubro de 2014, recebeu um impulso forte graças ao Santo Padre Francisco, que
chama a Igreja e dentro dela, Schoentatt, a sair às ruas, a não se fechar em si
mesma, a ir às periferias da sociedade e da fé para dar testemunho – em ações,
em gestos, em palavras, em projetos – da Boa Nova. A Igreja e os cristãos não
devem dormir num mundo vivo, em movimento, disse o Padre Kentenich pouco depois
do Vaticano II. “A vida dos cristãos adormecidos é uma vida triste, não é uma
vida feliz. O cristão deve ser feliz, a alegria de Jesus, na atualidade, é
importante não se fechar em si mesmo, enterrando o próprio talento, as próprias
riquezas espirituais, intelectuais, materiais, tudo o que o Senhor nos deu, mas
sim abrirem-se, serem solidários, estarem atentos ao outro”. Numa palavra: ser

bom propósito”, novamente neste ano os alunos da escola primária de Stupferich,
em conjunto com os seus professores, pais e avós, elaboraram com esmero bolinhos
e peças de artesanato para apoiar, com o que ganharam com a sua venda, um
projeto de ajuda social. Quando se apresentou a pergunta sobre a eleição do
projeto a apoiar, decidiram-se rapidamente pelas bolsas de estudo escolares da
Fundação Dequení, do Paraguai, que tem a finalidade de proporcionar os meios
necessários para tornar possível a educação das crianças e adolescentes que
vivem em condições de grande pobreza.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></B></P>

surpreender-nos, alegrando e ensinando com cada gesto com cada palavra. A sua
mensagem, simples e clara, é profundamente evangélica, sábia e oportuna. Há uns
dias uma mulher dizia-me que a mensagem do Papa interpela-a a uma mudança; um
rapaz dizia-me que se sente de novo “parte” da Igreja e que sente uma alegria
pela Igreja que há algum tempo não tinha. Hoje li a mensagem que o Papa enviou
aos bispos da Argentina reunidos em assembleia plenária. Dizia-lhes:
</FONT><EM><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: "><FONT style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">“Que toda a
pastoral seja uma chave missionária. Devemos sair de nós próprios para todas as
periferias existenciais (…). Uma Igreja que não sai, mais tarde ou mais cedo,
adoece na atmosfera viciada da sua reclusão. É verdade também que a uma Igreja
que sai pode acontecer-lhe o mesmo que a qualquer pessoa que sai à rua: ter um
acidente. Perante esta alternativa, quero dizer-lhes francamente que prefiro mil
vezes uma Igreja acidentada que uma Igreja doente. A doença típica da Igreja
fechada é a auto referência; olhar para si própria, estar curvada sobre si mesma
como aquela mulher do Evangelho. É uma espécie de narcisismo que nos conduz ao
mundanismo espiritual e ao clericalismo sofisticado, impedindo-nos de
experimentar “a doce e reconfortante alegria de
evangelizar.”</FONT></SPAN></EM></FONT></SPAN></B></P>

Chegou para nós a carta do Pe. Heinrich Walter (datada de 2 de fevereiro), com a
notícia de que os Padres Pallottinos haviam colocado fim às conversações sobre a
compra do Santuário Original e haviam arrendado a terceiros a “Casa Antiga”, que
se imaginava que estivesse ligada ao Santuário. Foi como receber um balde
de água gelada. Estávamos felizes com as notícias das várias cerimônias,
Alianças, Missas vespertinas... era maravilhoso... e agora, essa notícia!
Somos um Família tão grande, presente nos cinco continentes, nos preparávamos
para o Jubileu... podemos imaginar a quantidade de mensagens que o padre recebeu
de todos os cantos. Não sei por que me lembrei de uma canção chilota que
diz: “As costelas são minhas, mas querem tirá-las de mim...” e repetia para eu
mesma: “Este Santuário é meu, mas me querem tirá-lo”, planejando uma avalanche
de mensagens para os Padres Pallottinos, enviadas de todas as partes do mundo,
pelo correio eletrônico.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></B></P>

Obra das Famílias de Resistência, capital da província de Chaco, ao norte
argentino, partiram para missionar rumo à província vizinha de Formosa,
limítrofe com o Paraguai. A Mãe quer começar ali o Ramo das Famílias.
Esperava-se a participação de cinco a sete casais. Porém, grande foi a surpresa
ao encontrarem quatorze casais com seus filhos, ansiosos por conhecer e viver
