São Pedro e da praça de São Pedro, eu os saúdo, onde quer que estejam, pelo
mundo afora. O Santo Padre me convidou para participar do Sínodo dos
Bispos sobre a nova evangelização para a transmissão da fé cristã. Por
isso, não posso acompanhá-los hoje, junto ao Santuário Original. É um
sinal da Providência que hoje possamos unir assim nossos santuários com a grande
catedral da cristandade, aqui em Roma. Nossa missão é a missão da
Igreja. A ela, queremos servir com nosso carisma, para que Igreja, pela
ação do Espírito Santo, receba a graça de uma nova vitalidade. Até agora,
este é o maior anseio dos padres do Sínodo. Alguns falam de um novo
Pentecostes. Esta deve ser, também, nossa

dois anos do Jubileu da Aliança de Amor – é A festa de todo o schoenstattiano no
mundo. Neste 18 de Outubro a redação de schoenstatt.org olha para Guatemala e
para a celebração de 18 de Outubro em Esquípulas. Ali existe um pequeno grupo de
Schoenstatt que há catorze anos têm vindo a demonstrar o seu amor à Virgem
Santíssima, sua educadora. Numa localidade próxima, algumas senhoras estão a ser
acompanhadas por este grupo para começar a Campanha da Mãe Peregrina. Neste 18

da Corrente Missionária será iniciado no Santuário Original com uma vigília. A
abertura de cada ano no Santuário Original – um factor unificador na
peregrinação mundial da Família de Schoenstatt rumo ao Jubileu 2014 – dá
expressão ao facto de que a Família de Schoenstatt, em cada cultura e geração,
