recordamos aquele 20 de janeiro de 1942 quando o Padre Kentenich, preso pelo
regime nazista na prisão de Coblença, Alemanha, decidiu não assinar o
requerimento de revisão médica que lhe dava a possibilidade de não ser
transferido para o campo de concentração. Em março desse mesmo ano, foi
transferido para o Campo de Concentração de Dachau, onde permaneceu preso em
condições extremamente desumanas durante três anos e meio. Ofereceu sua
liberdade "exterior" em prol da liberdade "interior" de sua Família de
Schoenstatt; unido a Cristo e seguindo suas pegadas, aceitou a dor e a cruz para
que seus filhos tivessem "vida em abundância". Seu salto mortal foi dado na fé e
na confiança divina. A radical entrega na Aliança do Padre Kentenich despertou
no Movimento uma grande corrente de solidariedade com ele e de profunda união
entre os irmãos. E assim o dia 20 de janeiro passou a ser um marco na história
do Movimento Apostólico de Schoenstatt.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></B></P>

recebido a notícia do falecimento do Padre Jonathan Niehaus, famílias da Família
Schoenstattiana de Milwaukee, EUA, tiveram a iniciativa de organizar no dia 23
de janeiro horas de adoração eucarística nos Santuários dos EUA, para estar
simultaneamente presentes nas exéquias fúnebres e no sepultamento do Padre
Niehaus em Schoenstatt, Alemanha, a fim de que todos aqueles que não puderam ir
ao funeral pudessem assim acompanhar espiritualmente o Padre Niehaus e seus
familiares.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></B></P>

espanhol, inglês e alemão. Um símbolo do perceptível crescimento da
internacionalidade do Movimento Apostólico de Schoenstatt em sua peregrinação
rumo a 2014, como povo de Deus peregrino que louva e bendiz o Senhor em todas as
