Greetings from the Original Shrine, on the last 18th of the year, a few
days from Christmas!Schoenstatt is covered with snow with a touch of
Christmas in everything...The Blessed Mother convoked us close to the
manger of the Original Shrine...There are already about 30,000 names
sent from more than 2000 "emails for stars" since the beginning of
Advent -- they arrive day by day from 20 countries -- also from Lebanon,
England, Australia, the Philippines, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Spain,
Portugal and of course all the countries of the Americas."It truly
touched my heart when I saw that I could place my name (on a star)
writes Maria Luz Feitas from Paraguay. It is truly a pilgrimage from
every corner of the world, it demonstrates our attachment to the
Original Shrine and it is the anticipation of the large pilgrimage of
October 18, 2014.

On December 24th, on the afternoon of Christmas Eve -- shortly before
5:00 p.m. German time- we will take all the stars that were sent to the
Original Shrine, presenting them to the Blessed Mother and her little
Child, the small King in the manger. It will be transmitted via
www.schoenstatt-tv.de <http://www.schoenstatt-tv.de/>and it can be seen
throughout the rest of day of December 24th and December 25th.

Looking at the demonstration of trust and faith that are found on the
stars, it is the biggest gift that one can imagine for Advent...Three
Argentinean sisters pray daily for all the intentions on these stars
during Eucharistic Adoration. "This 18th of December we sealed our
Covenant of Lovewith the Blessed Mother as a couple.Thank you for
bringing us closer to the Original Shrine each day, to the Bethlehem
where our movement was born", a couple from Argentina wrote on the "star
of the day".Many have commented:"Thank you for allowing me to be a star
in the manger of this new Bethlehem..."

A star that was takento the Original Shrine early was that of Father
Raúl Molaro, from Paraná, Argentina, whocelebrated the Golden
Anniversary of his priestly ordination along with his twin
brother.Congratulations!

This 18th began with the Mass in the Original Shrine, in preparation for
2014, celebrated for Estonia, where the Pilgrim MTA is present. In spite
of much new snow, some brave ones arrived at the Original Shrine!

Just as every 18th,the Covenant Mass of the German Movement was
celebrated in the afternoon:the Girls' Youth from the Diocese of Trier
sang the songs. After the Mass, we went on pilgrimage to the Original
Shrine. Two young men from Chile proudly carried the flag from their
country...The youth from Trier were also in charge of the renewal of the
Covenant of Love and they invited everyone to pray the Pilgrimage Prayer
for 2014.It is beautiful to imagine that the entire Schoenstatt Family
is united inpraying this prayer. The cards- in Italian - arrived a few
days ago -- they all have the same design; there are already some in
Croatian, Czech, Spanish, English, Polish...Did you know that a prayer
card has also been in the Holy Land, in all the holy places?Where have
you seen the cards?Where is this prayer prayed?Tell us....

During the renewal of the Covenant of Love, we remembered all of you in
the Shrines, wayside shrines, and Homeshrines, on your pilgrimage toward
October 18, 2014, during this year of the Father current.

United in the Covenant of Love,

Sister Kornelia
